Character inference

Learning Intention: WALT discuss the character.
Success criteria: I can describe the character using adjectives.
I can use quotes and actions to support what the character is like.

I can put myself in the character's shoes to help me understand him or her.

                                                           Reflection
I was learning to discuss the character.  I realised that we actually needed to think about what they're saying and their actions.  It was tricky because thinking of answers in the book is really tricky because you might think that but it is actually not an action or quote and a different is.

I was learning to tell the time. Now I know that quarter past is 15 minutes have past. I also know that quarter to is when there is only 15 minutes have past.  It was easy for me because I already knew how to tell the time and use my 5 times tables.

Persuasion map

Reflection 

I was learning to write persuasive text.  Now I know how to back-up my reasons with my examples.  For an example: Giants like to eat people in the BFG.  It was tricky for me because it was tricky to think of examples to go with my reasons.
